Dr. McDowell has been in private practice since 1998, providing continuous service for the communities of western Cook County, IL and eastern DuPage County, IL. His interest in chiropractic started after a sports injury sidelined him. The chiropractic treatment or 'adjustment' he received at that time put him quickly on the path to recovery... and on a career path as well ! 

Dr. McDowell received a Bachelors degree from Lawrence University, Appleton, WI, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Ohio University, Athens, OH and his Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C) from Parker College, Dallas TX. Originally from suburban Philadelphia (yes... an Eagles fan!), Dr. McDowell resides with his family in the western suburbs.
